Bend your knees and hips to lower your body down and grab the dumbbell with one hand, keeping your back straight and your eyes forward.
In a quick, explosive motion, pull the dumbbell upwards to your shoulder, bending your elbow and keeping the weight close to your body.
Once the dumbbell reaches shoulder height, bend your knees slightly and then explosively straighten them while pushing the dumbbell overhead until your arm is fully extended.
Lower the dumbbell back to the floor in a controlled manner and then repeat the movement with the other arm. This completes one repetition.
