  • Bend your knees and hips to lower your body down and grab the dumbbell with one hand, keeping your back straight and your eyes forward.
  • In a quick, explosive motion, pull the dumbbell upwards to your shoulder, bending your elbow and keeping the weight close to your body.
  • Once the dumbbell reaches shoulder height, bend your knees slightly and then explosively straighten them while pushing the dumbbell overhead until your arm is fully extended.
  • Lower the dumbbell back to the floor in a controlled manner and then repeat the movement with the other arm. This completes one repetition.
