Performing the: A Step-by-Step Tutorial Dumbbell Alternate Hammer Preacher Curl
Hold a dumbbell in one hand with a neutral grip (palm facing your torso), ensuring your upper arm and elbow are positioned against the preacher bench pad.
Slowly curl the dumbbell up, keeping your palm facing your body, until your bicep is fully contracted and the dumbbell is at shoulder level. Keep your elbow stationary and do not use your shoulder to lift the dumbbell.
Hold the contracted position for a brief moment as you squeeze your biceps, then slowly begin to bring the dumbbell back to the starting position as you breathe in.
Repeat the movement with the other arm. This completes one repetition. Continue to alternate arms for the desired number of repetitions.
