  • Stand or sit with your feet shoulder-width apart and firmly grasp the rope with one hand, palm facing upwards, in a hammer grip (thumb facing upwards).
  • Lean forward slightly, placing the back of your upper arm on the preacher bench, with your arm fully extended and elbow slightly bent to avoid joint strain.
  • Curl the rope upwards towards your shoulder, while keeping your upper arm stable and only moving your forearm.
  • Slowly lower the rope back to the starting position, resisting the pull of the cable as you extend your arm, and repeat for the desired number of reps before switching to the other arm.
