Performing the: A Step-by-Step Tutorial Boxing Block

  • When a punch comes in, use your front hand (the left hand for right-handed people, or the right hand for left-handed people) to block it by moving your arm across your body.
  • Your palm should be facing towards the incoming punch and your elbow should be slightly bent.
  • After blocking the punch, immediately bring your hand back up to protect your face.
  • Repeat these steps for each incoming punch, making sure to keep your other hand up to protect your face throughout the exercise.
